Common questions

Do these QR codes expire?

No. The QR codes generated by FileSwift are static, meaning the data is encoded directly into the pattern. They do not use redirect links or third-party servers, so they will work forever with no subscription fees.

Why is the QR code not scanning?

Make sure there is high contrast between the foreground and background colors (dark foreground on a light background is best). If you select low contrast, phone cameras will struggle to scan it. Also, verify that the text or URL you entered is correct.

Are my QR details kept private?

Yes. Everything runs offline in your browser. Your text, URLs, or passwords are never sent to any server.
