Convert JPG,
PNG, or WebP.

Switch a single image between formats with a quality slider — for a photo that needs to become a WebP for a website, a WebP that needs to become a plain JPG for something that doesn't accept it yet, or a screenshot that needs to stay a lossless PNG.

Which format should you pick?

  1. JPG — best for photos where a small quality trade-off for a smaller file is fine.
  2. PNG — best for screenshots, logos, or anything with sharp edges and flat color, where you don't want any quality loss.
  3. WebP — usually the smallest of the three at similar quality, good default for the web, but double-check the destination accepts it first.

Common questions

Why won't a form or app accept my WebP image?

WebP support is broad but not universal — some older tools, some upload portals, and some legacy software still only accept JPG or PNG. Converting to JPG here usually resolves that instantly.

What does the quality slider actually control?

For JPG and WebP, it trades file size for visual fidelity — lower quality means a smaller file with more compression artifacts. PNG is always lossless regardless of the slider, so quality has no visible effect there.

I'm not sure which format I actually need — where do I start?
